GOYA Fest Code of Conduct

Participation is a privilege built on safety, respect, consent and accountability.

  1. Treat every person with dignity and respect.
  2. No harassment, sexual misconduct, exploitation, intimidation, threats, fighting, bullying, discrimination or retaliation.
  3. Respect personal boundaries, pronouns, accessibility needs, cultural identity and the right to decline participation.
  4. No unauthorized alcohol, cannabis, illegal drugs, smoking or vaping in youth areas.
  5. No weapons or dangerous items contrary to law, venue rules or GOYA policy.
  6. Do not misuse credentials, restricted areas, equipment, data or private participant information.
  7. Photography, video and livestreaming must respect consent and youth-safeguarding controls.
  8. Follow emergency instructions, security directions, occupancy limits and accessibility routes.
  9. Report concerns honestly. False, malicious or retaliatory reporting is prohibited.
  10. GOYA may remove, suspend or ban people and may refer matters to venue officials, emergency services or law enforcement.
